HOW TO MAKE A YOUTUBE CHANNEL

FOR BEGINNERS AND MAKE MONEY

It's possible FOR ANYBODY, no matter YOUR AGE to earn a passive income on YouTube from your passions, interests and hobbies.

In fact, the older you are the better - as you will have many life experiences already under your belt, that you LEARNED FROM, that you can now talk about to HELP OTHERS. You also have hobbies by now THAT YOU LOVE. Not fly by night hobbies, but passions that you adore, and by now are probably pretty good at to be considered knowledgeable in - or an expert in. That all important 'Niche' to this type of channel is YOU. You are the Niche and your skills, passions and hobbies or perspective on life are what will attract your tribe. Have you heard the saying: Your vibe attracts your tribe? And there are literally millions of people looking for this type of content and wanting to join your tribe!

You can literally monetise a skill that you have, or something that you love doing, that others would pay to know, or see you do. But it's not instant get rich quick scheme. Starting and growing your YouTube account will require commitment + applying learned skills one by one, day by day until you reach monetisation.

We are a family of 4 that all have our own online businesses. Myself (Mum/Fletch: I am a 40 year old woman. And I've started my own first YouTube Channel which I'm growing to get monetized.

Bertie is 8 and he LOVES gaming. He loves showing people his age how to get really good at gaming. Cos he thinks he's quite good at it and likes showing younger children how ti get good too! Think game hacks, cheat codes and how to's all whilst he plays the game - so actually plays his favourite games.

Bertie's love of gaming was something that we knew he could monetise. Like all 8 y/o kids, Bertie loves being on his IPad and we try to limit his time spent on it. Always seeing his gaming as a problem. He should be out playing in the sunshine and poking around bare foot. Which he does lot's of now we're in Bali. Most of our days are spent outdoors, at the beach. But because he LOVES gaming and knows what he likes to see and therefore what his audience (niche) would also love to see, it was the next step for him to start monetising his loves and passions. Learning new skills along the way around content creation, video editing and technology. By creating video content on YouTube of his gaming life by adding value to his viewers lives by offering game tips, playing and testing new games etc.

It was time to help our kids get into the online digital space as part of their home schooling learning. We think digital skills for the digital space and financial learning are the best skills that we can teach our kids going forward for a world that is moving into the digital age - see why we're Home Schooling our kids and follow our Worldschooling journey) and during our daily timetable, we add an hour in of digital skills based learning, which has lead our 15 y/o to start her own online business (launching soon). Where we cover business studies: business planning, finding her niche, social media strategy, product development and so much more.
